Since 1939, the history of Boggi has been strewn with successes. Today, the Boggi Milano brand is a point of reference for generations of men who dress with classic elegance but not rigid formality. In 1964, the first single-brand boutique opened in Milan. In a few years, a modern retail chain was born in which it was possible to choose between classic suits and casual wear. The nineteen eighties and nineties were years of development and growth in Italy and abroad, during which the brand image was more clearly defined. The range became broader, the collections were updated whilst at the same time respecting tradition. Together with professionals who wear suits daily, younger consumers were attracted by formal details. The stylistic research was refined, new shop set-ups were investigated and another great advantage for the Boggi brand was strongly promoted: high product quality in perfect relation to its price. 2003 marked a turning point. The new management set itself the goal of becoming the top Italian single-brand men’s clothing chain and achieving a strong presence abroad. Over the next five years, the push towards internationalisation will include the opening of new flagship stores in the principal European capitals, new sales outlets in the major airports and expansion in Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In parallel, the Far East serves as the springboard for a launch in India, while the creation of further sales points in the Middle East is also planned. This commercial expansion coincides with new product research in order to offer EASY-FORMAL elegance.
